Overview
Founded in 1946, Portland State University has an established reputation as a diverse and nationally-ranked university. The Online Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice program is a distance learning branch of PSU that allows students to earn an accredited Bachelor Degree from the convenience of home and without sacrificing the PSU standard of quality education.
Student Appeal
Instructors employ a variety of teaching media including discussions, reading assignments, online assignments, and multimedia. Virtual learning environments simulate traditional classrooms with peer and instructor interaction with the added convenience of learning from home. Financial aid is available for eligible students and includes federal grants, scholarships, and loans. Additional loans are available through private lenders and banks. Portland State University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.
