feel cheated
September 23, 2008
By Richard Roscoe - Grand Prairie Texas

Started the first time in Aug '07 and went all the way to the middle of July and they dropped me because I was not on track to graduate in sept and so after paying over 21K for the automotive course I signed up from they let me re-enter again in aug, just a couple of weeks after they dropped me and then today just over a month they dropped me again and said have to wait 60 days to re-apply. What kind of deal are they doing to these students? I had passed over half my courses but they decided I wasn't going to pass so drop me? after they got all this money instead of working with me. To give you an example. still have a problem knowing what tools are what and they didn't work with us on this. I really feel cheated and think I should entitled to some kind of a refund for education I wasn't given.

Registered Medical Assistant

I had no previous college experience, and had been out of high school for some time. The classes were small, and easy to comprehend; however, I found that the education was not worth the money spent for the position offered. I ended up making considerably less than I had made before attending Lincoln Technical Institute.

I also found that the program was easy to pass for 8 months, then when it came to graduation, if the company did not feel you could pass registration, you could not graduate. I was very disappointed in the end result. I am now a RMA, but am currently attending school for my BSN and am very content with the school I have now chosen.

It was very different, I'm a little older and used to classrooms. The coursework was great along with the tools I had. If I had questions I did have a coach/tutor whom I could call or live chat with.

I completed my course 6 months ago, and am completely satisfied with the end results and the friends I made. It was the best thing i could have done for myself career wise.
