Overview
South University provides educational opportunities for a diverse population of students interested in future careers in arts, sciences, business, and healthcare. South University has six locations throughout South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Virginia.
Student Appeal
Each of the South University campuses boasts industry-standard research and lab facilities, updated career-oriented educational curriculum, and dedicated staff. This program helps students secure entry-level employment at a variety of businesses and organizations. Students take courses in accounting, finance, computer software, management, business concepts and more. This degree can be a stepping stone to the Bachelor's degree. - AS in Graphic DesignAS in Graphic Design
The Associate's in Graphic Design is a two-year program. Students take courses on topics including illustration, graphic design, computer graphics, desktop publishing, photography and more. - AS in Information TechnologyAS in Information Technology
This is a two-year program. Students take courses on topics including Database Design and Development, Client-Server 3-Tier Development, Web/Internet Software Development and more. - AS in Medical AssistingAS in Medical Assisting
This degree trains students to be important members of the medical team. Students acquire both administrative and clinical skills and must complete a 200-hour externship. - AS in Paralegal StudiesAS in Paralegal Studies
This two-year program prepares students to perform the majority of paralegal functions, including interviewing clients, preparing legal documents, organizing cases for trial and more.
- AS Physical Therapist AssistingAS Physical Therapist Assisting
This program trains students to perform physical therapy procedures under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Students learn how to help clients improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.
Bachelor Degrees - BA in PsychologyBA in Psychology
This four-program allows students to work in a variety of industries upon graduation. Students study topics including psychological disorders, theoretical views, conformity, social perception, self esteem and more. - BBA in Business AdministrationBBA in Business Administration
This is a four-year program. Students take courses to learn how to adapt business strategies to new market conditions, apply leadership skills, assess organizational needs and more. - BS in Criminal JusticeBS in Criminal Justice
This four-year program allows students to choose one of five areas of emphasis: Juvenile Justice, Corrections, Law Enforcement, Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) and Cyber Crime. Coursework is practical and examines all the social, legal and technological challenges in the field. - BS in Graphic DesignBS in Graphic Design
This four-year program trains students in both traditional and computer-based techniques. Students take courses on topics including the theory and practice of print production, electronic publishing, advertising illustration, sales promotion and more. - BS in Health Science

The BS in Healthcare Management takes four years to complete. Students take courses on topics like the structure and function of health organizations, leadership in healthcare organizations, health ethics and law and more.

- BS in Legal StudiesBS in Legal Studies
Students who already have an Associate's in Paralegal Studies, or those who are currently pursuing an associate's degree in any major, may transfer into the Legal Studies bachelor's degree program. Those students with no prior paralegal education may enroll in the full BA program. - BS in NursingBS in Nursing
This degree prepares students to work in a variety of healthcare environments including acute care hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, and more. - BSN in Nursing RN to BSNBSN in Nursing RN to BSN
This degree is intended for students who are already Registered Nurses and who already have an associate's degree or possess a diploma degree from an accredited school, and who want to earn a BA without having to leave their job. Programs are accelerated and comprehensive.
