Overview
Since 1981, LA College has been providing a quality education that is career-focused. During the first years, the school focused on courses that prepared students for data processing and computer skills. In 2006, however, the American Way Education, LLC acquired the facility and added several courses and online degree programs for students worldwide.

Students learn practical concepts of setting up an e-Bay business, organizing websites and advertising your e-business. Focuses on the skills and knowledge useful for developing and operating a small business and assessing the viability of a new business plan.
• AA - Business Management Small Business ManagementAA - Business Management Small Business Management
  Entrepreneurs are the individuals who are willing to take risks. They are the ones responsible for most of our current economic growth. Entrepreneurs welcome change and know how to cultivate opportunities in small business arenas. The Associates in Small Business Management includes an introduction to the fundamentals of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• AA - Health Care Administration (HCA)AA - Health Care Administration (HCA)
  The Associate of Arts Degree in Health Care Administration is a comprehensive 16-month program that teaches health care administration and offers students a general introduction to a wide array of health care concepts. The curriculum includes basic computer operations and applications. This degree program also includes a general education component.

  This comprehensive 16-month program focuses on the billing and coding procedures essential for working in a medical office or healthcare setting. Basic computer skills are taught and objectives include understanding medical terminology, administrative activities and organizational skills.
• AS - Criminal JusticeAS - Criminal Justice
  The Associate of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice is a comprehensive 18-month program designed to prepare graduates for entry-level careers including, not only law enforcement, courts, and corrections, but also private sector employment such as private investigations, security, and victim advocacy agencies. The program emphasizes critical thinking and analysis, problem solving and decision-making, in the context of professional ethics, Constitutional protections, and citizens rights.
