Independence University is the first and premiere college to offer accredited Respiratory Therapy programs at a distance. They offer more health-care programs at a distance than any other private accredited college or university.

Independence University is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). Our Respiratory Care programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) in collaboration with the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
