The educational experience was excellent. I had been out of school for 30 years, have a learning disability and UOP went far beyond what I expected in extra help. This is a school that cares about the student. All instructor surveys were private and if a student was dissatisfied with something, a confidential phone complaint was taken.

Additionally, I would like to comment on the nursing instructors dress code. They were always dressed professionally.

I highly recommend this school:)

I'm a recent graduate University Of Phoenix and I have to say reading the reviews for the Health care program is very exciting! I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degree's at this school in business and was thinking about doing my RN here as well. What can I say I like school! The teachers here at the Phoenix, Arizona campus they were fantastic, and are very knowledgeable and very excited about their field. This school really tailors to working adults and their families.

Everything that you need is right there on-line. You don't have to carry around big books like some schools make you do. This school also puts you in real life team situations and by the end of your first class your team is like your family and you can help each other with anything. My Guidance and financial aid councilors where there for me every step of the way and even showed up for both of my graduations. I have to say that I really found a school that really cares about you as a person and what it takes to be very successful in your field. Thank you University Of Phoenix for being the best school ever!

Health Care Administration/Medical Re...

Penni Rowe - April 2, 2009

I have been attending Axia college and will graduate with my Associates degree. I love attending Axia College through University of Phoenix, because it works around my work schedule, I don't have to spend any money driving to a classroom, and the instructors and all faculty is very helpful. I intend on expanding my education by continuing the education through University of Phoenix to get my Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration/Medical Records. If you are looking for a way to further your education and expand your horizons, yet need time to spend with family, University of Phoenix is the best way to go.

AS Healthcare Administration

Maria - July 8, 2008

Classes are really tailored for the working student, so it was easy for me to continue working and still get the classes I needed. The location, on Albuquerque's north side was convenient for me as well, I did not spend a lot of time or money commuting. I was impressed from the start with the knowledge and expertise of the instructors, many of them had taught for years and they really knew the practical side of things as well, sharing stories about situations in the "real world" of health care. Their knowledge and willingness to share made a big difference for me, it really enriched the learning experience. When I graduated, I felt like I was fully prepared for the situations that arise at work and guess what?, I was right. I was able to comfortably integrate into a hospital work situation right away. I also appreciated the assistance I got from the financial aid department. They helped me explore options and put the paperwork together to get the best financial aid package that was available for me.

I was doing travel nursing at the time so it was great it was portable I could sign on from anywhere. Also it's only 6 weeks for each class so just about the time your getting bored with it, it's time to change.

The professors were wonderful. Online was great, interactions even if they weren't always immediate interactions, as with face to face. I enjoyed it, it fit nicely into my lifestyle and met my needs.

B.S. in Health Administration

Sara - May 19, 2008

I was pleased with my online experience for the most part. The teachers and students were very receptive and we had weekly online chatroom meetings. The work was very challenging, but I was able to complete it on my own at home and received useful feedback from the instructor when it was complete.
