I have a degree in criminal justice from RETS. I didnt have any problems with this school. I loved going to RETS. The only thing i did not like was I did not get any of my grant or loan money sent to me. I did not like that because what ever was left I wanted it sent to me, but they did send it to my loan lender. All the money that was left was sent directly to them and I did get receipts for everything they sent to the loan company. Even though i wanted my money, it will be better for me in the long run if it were sent to the loan lender because that money has to be paid back anyway.

I received a pell grant for school. After I had graduated from school and finished my course of study; I received a letter from the school that I had a pell grant refund--tell me why they kept telling me that the money wasn't mind, and that they sent it back to the Dept. of Ed. I called Dept of Ed and they said they didnt send the pell back to them. WHO HAS IT? NOT ME... RETS college is now saying that they never give any students a refund of "their" unused grants. NEVER!!! I've been in college before and I know that the pell grant money belongs to the student once all the expenses are paid. GO TO A SCHOOL WERE IF YOU ARE ENTITLED TO YOUR MONEY THEY WILL GLADLY GIVE IT TO YOU.
