I am writing this in response to the person stating that you "should not be fooled" that this is an occupational therapy aide and not assistant program. I read the information thoroughly and it clearly states that you will not be obtaining a degree but it is a step into the field. Like attending any school, you should first do your research about the field and future job outlooks as well as accreditation. Penn Foster has taught me many things and I have already had experience in the health care field. Granted, many therapy aide jobs state that the only education you need is a high school diploma, but this program will definitely put you one step up against any other candidate!

Please don't be fooled, Penn Foster doesn't offer an OTA certificaton course. They can get you certified as an AIDE, not an Assistant. I am currently taking the course and find it very educational, but I still need to find a school that I can get an Associates degree.
