I was a student in the billing and coding classes. First of all they gave us used books we were my allowed to keep. Finally when we (our class of coders) where finally put together our first instructor quit then we had another one and in-between those two we had people who just handed out worksheets and had no idea what they were teaching. I paid 13,000.00 for nothing. As far as education goes, the lighter side I did make some good friends with the other students in my class.

MEDVANCE IS NOT A SCAM ITS JUST THESE PEOPLE WANT U TO BELIEVE IT IS I GRADUATED FROM THE LPN CLAS AND I GOT AN AWESOME JOB I WORK IN THE ER OF A HOSPITAL IN FLORIDA SO EVERYONE THAT SAYS ITS A SCAM IS LIEING TO U CAUSE THEY THE TEACHERS STAYED THE SAME THE WHOLE WAY THRU MY 16 MONTHS OF GOING THERE AND NOW THAT I GOT A JOB DOING IT IM THE BEST ON THE FLOOR SO THESE BILLING AND CODING STUDENTS DONT KNO WHAT THEY R TALKING ABOUT THEY SAY THEY WERE STRAIGHT A STUDENTS AND ALL THIS BUT CANT EVEN DO PUNCTUATIONS AND WRITE A REVIEW RIGHT SO DONT BELIEVE THAT ITS A SCAM ITS ONE OF THE BEST SCHOOLS

I graduated from this school two years ago..I couldn't take the sTate test because the school does not preapare the students for it and I was an Honor student, I graduated with A in every single class. It's a 5 hrs test. Nobody from my class has past it. If I want to try and take the test I need to pay to one of the teachers at Medvance $400 plus the test that cost $250.

It is true that there is new staff every week that makes everybody confused. I'm stock paying to Sallie Mae $140 monthly for an education I really didn't received.

I started at Medvance in February 2010. I was so excited to start the Medical Billing Program at the Nashville,TN campus. I got excepted for student loans, but i had to pay monthly payments of $120 which was very difficult because i couldn't find a job.

My mom who lives in Ohio had to make my payments for me. I missed 2 payments and that's when Jack in the downstairs office started interupting my education daily to pull me out and harass me about my 2 payments. After being threatened alone in Bobs office with the door closed behind me{i am female by the way!!!}I had to contact my Aunt who payed my expenses out of my inheritance so that i could continue taking classes.

I switched due to getting a night job from night to morning classes in July and now they made me take the month of September off and also i will be off in December so now my program is extended by 3 extra months and i lost $1000 from my loans!!!!! Which i was not told i was going to lose part of my financial Aid because they could not acomadate my new schedule.

I am an A-B average student and love learning but i suggest that if you want a great education to go to an Accredited school because MEDVANCE is NOT accredited so now im stuck until March 2011 in my program and only one person that has graduated out of 20 or so has gotten a job. the main point i am trying to make is that you should research all career colleges in detail to make sure you are getting your moneys worth

The teacher is having an affair with the student in her class. The director was fired for incompetence. One of the teachers did not have even a bachelors degree. Need I say more
