Good and Helpful

I am currently in the general education classes at Keiser University and I will be starting my Core in January. I have not had any problem with the school other than the fact that they charge soooo much. Almost $2000 a class! All the teachers are great and I can say that from experience because I went to Florida Community College at Jacksonville and I did not feel most of the teachers cared. Some of the students seem a little stuck up, I guess that’s because a lot of the students going to the school in Jacksonville are rich. I would recommend the school to anyone that could afford it. P.S. Financial Aid is really helpful, they get most of the students as much money as they can, as a result a lot of the students are paying close to nothing for the classes.

DO NOT GO TO WPB KEISER

THIS IS NO JOKE. THE DIRECTOR OF THE RADIOLOGY PROGRAM SHOULD NOT HAVE THIS JOB. HE ALLOWED STUDENTS TO BE BELITTLED AND DERGRADED WHILE OUT ON THERE CLINICAL ROTATIONS BY THE CLINICAL INTRUCTORS WHO WERE SUPPOSE TO TEACH THESE STUDENTS. THIS DIRECTOR TOOK THE SIDE OF THE CI INSTEAD OF HIS STUDENTS. THESE STUDENTS ARE PAYING ALOT OF MONEY TO THIS SCHOOL, TOO MUCH IN FACT. THESE STUDENTS SHOULD BE TREATED FAIRLY BY THE STAFF OF THE SCHOOL AS WELL AS THERE CLINICAL SITES. THE STUDENTS HAVE NO ONE AT THIS SCHOOL TO BACK THEM UP BECAUSE WHATE EVER THE CI SAYS AOUT YOU CAN NOT BE DISPUTED UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE KICKED OUT. THE DIRECTOR ALSO TEACHES THE FINAL CLASS AND HE HAS NO CLUE OF HOW TO TEACH OR ANY OF THE ANSWERS ASKED OH HIM. KEISER REALLY NEEDS TO GET A NEW DIRECTOR FOR THE RT PROGRAM AT LEAST ONE WHO CAN ANSWER A QUESTION CORRECTLY AND NOT TEACH THE STUDENTS WRONG INFORMATION.

If you are considering this school, please think again, do you research, see what other student are saying, this is a money hungry school, the staff are crazy, yes they will smile at first but after you get in all hell will break loose, I am in the mist of suing them, and this is not the first time people are taking them to court, the dean is a mess also, don't take my word, go to that school you will be sorry, make sure you have a lawyer afterward. Orlando Florida University.

GE to RT

I'm majoring in Radiology and am still in my GE courses, but I like the Melbourne campus due to the fact that this is the only Keiser campus where you only go two days a week. Although, the class is 6 hours long each day. So math can be brutal. All the other campuses are 3 days a week.

2 days a week vs. 3 days a week means I save gas money and time traveled. All the teachers so far have been very helpful and are willing to stay late and one in particular has and is willing to meet you on your days off to help you with their course. I give an "A" to Keiser in Melbourne and an A+ to the teachers.

Also, 1st timers, the orientation was friendly and professional. After orientation the core teachers showed you where you would be going to class and were pleasant to deal with at all times.

I was very upset with the Tampa Campus in Florida. I went there to register for the RT program and I already had my general education courses done. The counselor told me that my GE courses would transfer to their school. A week after they told me I have to retake all the GE in order to get in. If they are regional accredited and my GE courses were done on a regional accredited school why do I have to retake them? They were not helpful to me and that is why I would not recommend this school (at least the one in Tampa) to anyone.

AA Massage Therapy

I went to Keiser University and was amazed with how helpful it was and how time flew past. I got my associates degree in massage therapy and had a great time doing it. I was never a big fan of school but when it came to this I loved every minute of it. Keiser has campuses located all over Florida which was helpful to me. I went to the Pembroke Pines Campus in Pembroke Pines, Florida. For me Keiser was the only choice. There many things I thought I knew but going here taught me everything I really needed to know and corrected the things I thought I knew but didn’t. I now feel comfortable in my field whereas before I definitely did not. I plan to open my own massage therapy business and already have several clients. Keiser University prepared me for that and I could not be more thankful.

BS Health Sciences

Keiser University's Health Sciences program really prepared me for a job. I liked the small class size, I always felt like I got the attention I needed during class, and we had an opportunity to work with the equiptment and technology that we would encounter in "the real world", so now I'm comfortable with my new job. The instructors were great, they really made learning easy, with clearly stated course goals and outlines and plenty of individual attention for students that needed it, like me. I really liked the schedule, we took one class at a time and I was able to fully focus on that class. It made all the difference for me. I didn't feel tugged in so many directions like I had at a conventional school. At Keiser, I was able to put my full attention on one class at a time. I learned faster and retained more with that type of class schedule. When each class was completed, I really felt ready for the next class to begin.
