My advice is not to attend this school. They force you to take transcription and billing & coding when your degree is in Ultrasound. They force you to take classes for RMA when your degree is in Ultrasound. These are useless classes for a person that has no intention of working in RMA, transcription, or billing & coding. They just want more money from the students. Half of the ultrasound machines don't work properly. They shove 40+ people into a classroom. They don't cap the number of students entering, so when it comes time for graduation you have a 100 students needing externships (which you have to pay 5K for and wait 3-4 months for as well)and trying to find jobs all at the same time. Which there are not many jobs available for an echo tech. The jobs that are available will not hire new graduates. We were lied to at the beginning of the course. We were supposed to be able to choose vascular or echo. This is not the case. We are forced to do only echo. If we want vascular we have to enroll in the Nutly school after we graduate. More money. This school is all about how much money they can pick your pocket for. For your own sake, check out other schools.
