I found that it was time to make a career change and I chose to go into massage therapy because I wanted to work in a more relaxed and calm environment. Thankfully I found Daytona College which had the program and setting I liked, and would fully prepare me for what I would be doing once I was finished in the classroom. The contract hours of instruction in a clinical practice were really wonderful. Working with the staff and learning hands on from professionals was a great experience for me to test the waters before I began my career. I saw that I really wanted to help people find a natural way to relax and relieve stress. I enjoy getting to know clients and having the chance to spend time helping them do something so beneficial for their overall health. It is really amazing that there was so much to learn, but I was able to get the knowledge I needed to make a career for myself.

I loved the atmosphere of the classes, and the teachers. Being in Florida wasn't half bad either! I didn't like the commercialized feel of the college. The administration seemed more focused on money than on students. Daytona College set me up for a great career in massage therapy. Now everyday I get to work my own hours, and make great money!

This school is great to get your AA or AS at a great price and transfer to a bigger and better university to get some serious studying done. Its great to get your requirements done and over. My experience with teachers have been very good. They are there if you need help and they are understandable. Go there if you are poor and need a jump start to a really good university after your second year. Its worth it.
