Computer Forensics / Cybercrime
There are two categories of cybercrime. The first is criminal activity involving a computer and the second is criminal activity with a computer as the target. Computer forensics and Cybercrime focus on finding digital evidence after a computer security incident has occurred. A Computer Forensics or Cybercrime program will prepare students with the necessary skills to identify an intruder’s footprints and to properly gather necessary evidence. Graduates will be able to pursue employment with law enforcement agencies, both local and federal, and large corporations among other areas.
