Anesthesia Tech
The anesthesia technician's job is to assist the anesthesiologist in all facets of his or her duties, from scheduling patients to pre and post operation care. Anesthesia techs are also in charge of setting up medical equipment and supplies, and making sure that all equipment is well cleaned, sterilized, and in good working condition. Individuals pursuing this field usually have at least a certificate from an accredited institution, although with more education comes a higher salary and greater responsibility. The annual expected salary for anesthesia technicians in the United States is $31,657.
